A child is the reflection of what a parent is. A poor behaved child reflect poor care from the parent. A child earliest support comes from home. Parents have great role in shaping development of their children. Research shows the strong positive parental influence comes from the parent and have long lasting impact for child’s future behavior, academic and success. A child needs strong emotional support. Scolding at a child has highly negative impact as it may traumatize the child leading to low attention and fear to face different obstacles.
The role of a parent is to ensure that his or her child walks in a right path. A right path indicates good relationship with other children, respectfulness to others, empathetic care and being really. Negative vibes of parents should not interfere with the vibes of their children. Union is created by relationship, relationship is created by love and love is created by care while the fundamental remains to parental care. It is hard to have strong community when the people we depend are manner-less.
Having parental conference to discuss on good ways to up ring the child should be encouraged. Instead of attending more wedding ceremonies, parents should attend more psychological and parenting conference. Development of technology and increase in financial demand should not be a reason to abandon our children instead we should have more time with them because they are our heir after and all what we go through they will also go through.
One among the major challenges of parenting is that most parents especially in southern Sahara are under age. It is normal for a 14 years old girl to bear a child. Early pregnancy is a nightmare in most societies and this lead to poor mannered kids. The other challenge which is not as major as the first is the problem of forced marriage. Many couples are the result of parental or relative forces. Forced marriage has no true love because marriage is a covenant between two people that they will live together as one body and soul within all the days of life. Since marriage requires love and respect yet the marriage had no love but a force from the sides of parents even the children who are the product of the marriage will not have that quality care from both parents.
